Logo Design & Branding

When starting a new business or repositioning an established one, it’s important to put your best foot forward. You only get one chance to make a first impression.

My clients love working with me on their logo design because I have a system that really works. My approach is to start from a place of understanding the image you want to portray, identifying your aesthetic preferences and facilitating a discovery of your new branding.

From discovery to delivery, Carlene Can.

Discovery

Before we can get started on making you the brand of your dreams, help teach me about your business and how you’d like to put yourself out there. I have a series of questions that will help to identify the key aspects of your business to translate into a logo design you love.

Color & Font Selections

After you’ve returned your logo questionnaire, I’ll send over some color palettes for you to review. They’ll be inspired by graphics that encapsulate my interpretation of your answers.

Preliminary Logo Design

This is where the creative process really gets fun. After we have selected your colors and fonts, I can start putting together some preliminary logo designs for us to discuss. I’ll send you a proof with my initial ideas, you’ll send it back to me with your notes and we’ll cha cha until we find a logo design you love.

Secondary Brand Asset Design

When we nail down the primary logo design, I’ll use that as a basis for creating your secondary brand assets. These include a stacked version, an icon and single color versions of each of those assets.

Delivery

When all of your brand assets have been created and approved, you’ll be sent a final invoice for my services. Upon payment, I’ll send you over a zip file that contains your logos and brand assets in every format you’ll need both now and in the future. You’ll receive vector and raster versions of your logo as well as a very helpful branding guide that outlines your fonts, colors and each version of your logo, perfect for sharing with vendors who need to represent your brand.
